We’re a small Northwest book publishing, book design and publication design company that specializes in helping authors publish books on natural history themes, or whose work features the Pacific Northwest.
We have published field guides, poetry and novels related to Oregon and Washington, as well as other works of authors who live in the Pacific Northwest. We provide book and cover design, editing, illustration and photography assistance for authors who want to be an integral and active part of the team that creates their book.
Click on our Books Titles page to see the books for which we accept orders. Some authors we work with choose to accept their own orders, and we can link you to them directly from that page. Contact us with any questions not obvious when reviewing individual book pages.
We are also involved in ornithology education as well, as Dan Gleason is an Oregon-based ornithology educator and lecturer whose specialty is teaching about birds to recent converts to the growing group of new bird watchers (or birders).
Barbara is also an illustrator (see below) with a line of natural science cards and prints she created, shown on the prints and cards page. (See her work at www.bgleasondesign.com, by navigating to the illustration pages!
We offer lectures, workshops and field classes about birds and natural history with Dan Gleason, author of Birds! From the Inside Out and the upcoming Birds! A Life on the Wing (Fall 2006), and author of the Eugene Register Guard newspaper’s monthly Home and Garden section Backyard Habitats column. Click here to read these educational articles!
