CraneDance Publications has been helping authors publish books since 2000, with more than 20 years of experience in book and publication design, from catalogs to magzines.
We enjoy working with actively-involved authors who want a custom approach for their unique books. We avoid the boiler-plate look, preferring to help authors think carefully about their audience so as to design a book that their readers will want to pick up and read or use.
Our biological backgrounds and education expericne mean that we can provide editing for many natural science topics in-house. We also have worked with outside editors for subject areas beyond our expertise. We’ve enjoyed working with natural history and field guide authors, poets, historical novelists and those trying to reach distinct groups of readers.
